     Semi-Permanent Fencing Assembly Tips

  1

Connect the tape and the steel plate to the End Strain Insulator G670134-White or G670034-Black at the first end post.

 2

Only use the steel connecting plate at the corners where the tape ends. On any other corners you can leave out the plate.

 3

Pull the tape tight at the end post using the steel connecting plate, then assemble everything together using the top part of the Corner Insulator.

 4

Place the intermediate posts up to 23 feet apart. Have the post about 2 inches higher than the top tape. Secure the intermediate Poly Tape Insulators G669134-White or G669034-Black with screws. Now place the tape in the insulators.

 5

Close the Tape Insulators by lightly tapping them with a hammer.

 6

The Gallagher Electric Gate Kit G641104 is recommended when using 1½" Turbo Tape. The Turbo Tape is not included in the kit. Assembly instructions are included with the kit for fast and easy installation.

 7

To connect the power, the rows of tape have to be interconnected. Use Gallagher HD Underground Cable G627014-Black or G627044-White to join the steel connecting plates by using a Joint Clamp G603934-Wingnut. To connect the energizer to the fence, use Gallagher HD Underground Cable and connect to the steel connecting plate using a Joint Clamp.

Use a Cut-Off Switch G607624-Yellow, G607634-Green, or G608704-Red if you want to switch the power On and Off at the fence. Place the Cut-Off Switch in the HD Underground Cable between the energizer and the fence. Mount the Cut-Off Switch to a post.
